Ein urspr\u00fcnglich im 19. Jahrhundert errichteter Leuchtturm weist auch heute noch den Weg und beherbergt ein Museum zur Navigation. Inmitten der Nehrung liegt ein Vogelbeobachtungsposten und einige F\u00e4hren verbinden das Cap mit Arcachon und anderen Orten auf der gegen\u00fcberliegenden Seite. Austern werden hier seit 1860 gez\u00fcchtet und bei Ebbe lassen sich die Austerntische bewundern. Diese Gestelle sind etwa h\u00fcfthoch und liegen bei Ebbe im Trockenen.
